Snowflake Illusion Scarf
I’ve always admired illusion knitting patterns, but had never found just the right one for me. I thought that charting my own pattern would be fun and would give me some practice designing my own projects. After doing a little research online, I was able to figure out how to design a pattern using this website. It definitely took me a couple of tries, but I was able to come up with the snowflake pattern.
I used cheap yarn for this project because it was my first try at illusion knitting. The blue is Red Heart and the sparkly white is Lion Brand Wool-Ease. I used size 8 needles. The scarf ended up being fairly thin, but the yarn and needle size could be changed to fit whatever look you’re going for.
Good luck with this pattern and the future illusion patterns that YOU will create!
